Ok so i want to get some drums just to mess around with in my basement and i want electric drums just because i like the sound and options i would have... anyway i came across the osp dd502 MKII and i was wondering if anyone knew if these would be good. Im definitely not too great at drums and this would be my first kit. Thanks! www.7ballmusic.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=48&idcategory=

I haven't tried this kit myself but from what I've seen though it gets pretty good reviews from buyers. The only concern with any 'cheaper' electronic kit is the sensitivity of the pads- often you can be left without the ability to play ghost notes, drags let alone buzzes. But if you're just lookin to rock out some beginner beats these type of kits are great value for money if noise is a concern. Otherwise I'd recommend a beginner acoustic kit every time
